Your Site Needs Your Help... From time to time the thoughts "I wonder what they looked like, what kind of people they were, what they did, where they lived, where they came from, what they liked?" have occurred to each of us about our ancestors. Unfortunately, in most cases the answers are lost forever, but in rare cases, some have lived on. The internet gives us an opportunity to leave this information behind, to be shared by our children. One day these same children will ask those same questions about us. As we die, these details don't have to die with us. If it's ever going to happen, you have to abandon the thoughts that your efforts will not be good enough. However you shape them, they will. At the very least, you've got to admit they will be a great improvement on the "nothing" that we have now. And again, you can't simply wait until someone else does it. We know it would be hard to write about yourself, and even hard to do one about someone who's still living. But how about parents, grandparents, siblings or aunts & uncles who are no longer here? Just ask yourself how much we would be missing if Rose Badali had not written THIS! Or, Bill Amodeo, THIS! And those pictures hidden away in albums may one day end up in the garbage because no one knows who they are. Maybe some will get passed down to one person, but then they are still hidden from everyone else. Now, thankfully, adding them to our website means they can be shared by everyone. Each & every picture can be quickly & easily saved on your computer--without having to ask anyone for it, or having to scan it yourself. Two clicks and it's yours! We're trying to 'limit' the age of everyone's picture to about their graduation or wedding dates so we can follow family resemblances better (before we all turn old and less recognizable). And, if you would like to add or replace any photos, please e-mail them to us. Nothing you contribute--pictures, documents, whatever, is ever lost. All we want to do is a copy of it. It's still yours to keep. Or if you need us to scan (and we will return) them, that's fine too.
